Shimmering Miriam Haskell Glowing Glass pearl Necklace. In dim light the pearls look like regular Haskell baroque pearls but in brighter light they seem to take in the light and literally glow! The nacre appears to have been applied thinner than usual giving the pearls this gorgeous shimmering quality. I believe they were made this way intentionally because even the little seed pearl on the clasp has the same properties. The necklace measures 28" in length and the pearls are approximately 10mms. Excellent condition with no verdigris or peeling. circa 1960's.
