Saphiret glass stones are very rare as gold was added to the glass to give them their characteristic blue/tan brilliance. Rarer yet is Juliana saphiret jewelry. This brooch has three layers with saphiret marquis stones encircling the base. It is a truly amazing piece. Set in silver-tone metal and measures an astounding 3" in diameter by 1 " in height. The colors of the chaton stones are a soft baby blue to accent the saphiret stones and larger Montana blue chatons. It is in outstanding condition with the stones sparkly and the silver-tone metal very bright and shiny. The saphiret stones are in amazing condition and flash a brilliant blue. There is slight surface scratching on the Montana blue rhinestones.
